Karl maintains an active role in the Ohio Council of Massage Therapy Schools (OCMTS) and presently serves as its President. He possesses the unique ability to interpret students’ needs and visualize the proper path to fulfill those needs. |

Brenda has certifications in Stone Body Massage, Hot and Cold Stone Therapy, Breast Massage, Spa Hot Stone and Advanced Hot Stone Massage, Advanced Clinical Massage, Contraindications, Pregnancy Massage, Lymph Drainage, Sports Massage, Contour Body Wrap, Geriatric Massage, Infant Massage, Insurance Billing, Trager Techniques, Spa Body Wrapping, Receptor Techniques for the Neck, Fibromyalgia & Massage and Pharmacology. Mrs. Meyer has been instructor for IOTM since September 2005 and oversees the Limited Branch Portion of IOTM’s Massage Therapy Program having taught 401-404 massage theory & practical, 601-604 advanced massage courses, 301-302 muscles, and 501 pathology / pharmacology. She continues to teach the post-graduate state board preparatory limited branch review as well as a number of weekend workshops. |

Works in Administration and oversees the Basic Science portion of IOTM’s Massage Therapy Program. She received her Bachelors of Science in 1992 from The Defiance College, Defiance, Ohio. She received her Diploma in Massage Therapy from The Institute of Therapeutic Massage in March 2002. She became nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork in December 2004. Lorissa holds additional certifications in Pregnancy Massage, Breast Massage, Infant Massage, Lymph Drainage, Sports Massage, Contour Body Wrap, Geriatric Massage, Spa Hot Stone and Advanced Hot Stone Massage, Advanced Clinical Massage, Contraindications, Pharmacology and Acupressure I. Mrs. Sickmiller has been an instructor for IOTM since September 2005 and continues to teach the post-graduate state board preparatory basic science review as well as the medical massage weekend workshops. |
